The Indianapolis 500 is a big deal
First, here in the Circle City, the Indianapolis 500 is a big deal. And by big, I mean well-over 300,000 people come from both near and far too attend the race, making it the largest attended sporting event in the world. Which for anyone planning a leisure drive anywhere near the Indianapolis Motor Speedway come late May, means one, be prepared for a lot of traffic; and two, just go ahead and plan your Sunday drive for another Sunday.
